Vero Beach, FL.

Clarence “Chuck” Cromwell Boyle, Jr., Age 74 of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Towson, MD.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Chuck was the beloved son of Irene (Kahoe) Boyle and the late Clarence Cromwell Boyle, Sr.

He was the devoted husband of Patricia (Conry) Boyle, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to Molly (Chris) Skandalis, Paige Boyle (Ryan) Kornke and Blake (Jessica) Boyle.

Chuck was the very proud grandfather of CJ Skandalis, Connor Boyle, Ryan Skandalis, Isabelle Boyle, Alexis Skandalis, Mason Proctor, Avery Kornke, and Payton Kornke. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Irene Boyle, and his siblings Linda Berry, Mike Boyle, Sr., Mary Sue Lynch, Chris Boyle, and Brooke Boyle.

In addition to his immediate family, Chuck is also survived by countless loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, and cousins, along with a large circle of dear friends in both Maryland and Florida, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

A devout Catholic, Chuck attended daily Mass both in Maryland and Florida. He was a graduate of St. Margaret School, John Carroll School, Harford Community College, and the General Motors University of Automotive Management. Chuck proudly served his country in the Maryland Air National Guard.

Chuck’s professional life was centered around his family’s automotive business, where he worked his entire adult life and, along with his brother, purchased the dealership in 1993. A devoted family man, he was also a dedicated member of his community and participated in numerous local organizations, earning many awards for his selfless giving and service.

Chuck enjoyed body surfing, beach bocce, cornhole, and barhopping. His passions included hunting, golfing, fishing, playing cards, traveling, and entertaining friends—especially during his time in Florida. But the thing he was most passionate about was cheering on his grandchildren at all their sporting events and activities.

A lifelong Harford County resident, Chuck also greatly treasured his time in Vero Beach, Florida, where he built lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
