Charlotte Elizabeth Bachmann

Charlotte Elizabeth Bachmann, age 93, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Accent Care Inpatient Hospice, Franklin Square Hospital, in Rosedale, Maryland.  She was born February 20, 1930, to Bernard and Elizabeth (Hoefner) Eckert in Baltimore, Maryland.  Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late William Edward Bachmann, and attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Joppa, Maryland.

For many years, Charlotte took care of children in her neighborhood, while their parents worked.  She loved to garden and loved taking care of her grandchildren. Charlotte was an avid walker and could be seen most days taking her 3-mile walk in her neighborhood.  Family and friends will remember Charlotte for her love of gardening, healthy eating, and love of family.

 
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Linda B. Salamone, and Terry E. Bachmann; son in law, Joseph Salamone; grandsons, Brian Salamone, Jeffrey Salamone, and Vincent Salamone, and four great-grandchildren, Joseph Earl, Charlotte, Spencer and Dean Salamone.
