Charlie E. Asbury

Charlie E. Asbury, age 83, of Joppa, MD passed away on March 12, 2017. Born in Spring Creek, WV, he was the son of Charlie Demps and Ida Mae (Barker) Asbury. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Shipyard for 38 years where he was a supervisor. He also enjoyed working on lawnmowers.

Mr. Asbury is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon A. Asbury; three sons, Ronald Asbury, Randall Asbury and William Pennington; three daughters, Linda Prevo, Trisha Cammarata and Brenda Pizanis; two brothers, Dennis Asbury and Wayne Asbury; sister, Marion Grey Purdy; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Asbury.
