Charles Richard Lindsay

Charles Richard Lindsay, age 81, of Joppa, MD, died on March 30, 2010 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harold Spellman and Norma Virginia Thomas Lindsay and husband of the late Vondell Lindsay. A resident of Harford County for 25 years, he graduated from Baltimore City College and passed the BAR examination at the age of 22. He worked at the Towson Courthouse; a title and guarantee company; Social Security Administration where he was a lawyer and later a computer programmer; and in Civil Service as a computer programmer at Edgewood Arsenal.

Mr. Lindsay is survived by his son, Paul T. Lindsay of Havre de Grace, MD; daughter, Martha A. Lindsay of Melter, GA; sisters, Bonnie L. Winter of Shrewsbury, PA and Glynda McNamara; grandson, Skylar M. Lindsay; and devoted friend and long time caregiver, Louise Stamathis.
