Charles E. Mick, Sr.

Charles E. Mick Sr., age 94, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on December 2, 2023, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Orlando, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Claud and Haydee (Skinner) Mick and adored husband of the late Betty Jean (Barnett) Mick. 

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving for 14 years and was a Mason for 60 years. He was a proud country boy from West Virginia who had never met a stranger. He had a love for horses and riding and was a former member of the Chesapeake Riding Club. He belonged to North Harford Baptist Church and was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed sports and loved the Baltimore Orioles, Ravens, and former Colts.   
   
Charles is survived by his daughter, Connie L. Evans; sons, Charles E. (Shelia Fujimoto) Mick Jr., and William C. (Catherine Foot) Mick; grandchildren, Ashley Evans Candy, Eric Evans, Trey Mick, Cameron Mick, Grayson Mick, Eli Mick, and Paul William DaSilva; great-grandchildren, Julius, Caleb, Brooks, Molly, Olivia & Milo.
 
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brother, Claud "Bud" Mick, and sister, Bonnie Kuhn.
