Charles David Knopp, age 74, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ernest Knopp and Lucy (Miller) Knopp.

David was the beloved husband of Susan Knopp, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on family, hard work, and simple joys. He was the proud owner and operator of Knopp Drains for over 20 years, dedicating himself to his business and the community he served.

David found great happiness in caring for his yard and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed sitting on his deck during the summertime, surrounded by his family. He had a deep love for Ocean City and the beach, often keeping connected by watching the live webcams when he could not be there in person.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Knopp; his children; daughter Tricia Cravaritis & her husband Rob, son Cory Knopp & his wife Emily, and son Jarod Knopp & his wife Kate; and his cherished grandchildren; Nicholas Cravaritis, Alexis Cravaritis, Ryan Knopp, and Silas Knopp. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Knopp & her long-time partner Calvin Walker, his brother James Knopp & his wife Grayson, and his sister Rita Ferenc & her husband Milan.
