Mr. Charles T. Greenland, of Churchville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 89.

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Charles was the son of the late Alfred Tevis Greenland and Nellie (Walter) Greenland.

Charles was the beloved husband of Elnora Greer Greenland. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, companionship, and devotion. He was a loving father to Gregory Greenland and a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Greenland.

Charles retired from Viele & Company in Aberdeen, where he worked as a bookkeeper for more than 50 years. He was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic throughout his long career.

In his free time, Charles enjoyed bowling, horse racing, and collecting stamps and coins. These hobbies brought him great enjoyment throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Churchville Presbyterian Church or the Humane Society of Harford County.

Charles will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his family, his commitment to his work, and the quiet kindness he shared with those who knew and loved him.
