Son of the late Lawrence Pyle and the late Helen Knopp Pyle; husband of the late Harriet Burton Pyle; step-father of Betty Bryant; Mary Katherine Lovelace; John H. Smith; Richard W. Smith; Sara L. Parks; the late James H. Smith and the late William L. Smith. Brother of William Pyle and Harold Pyle; PearlKellison; Agnes Long. Also survived by numerous great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday January 22, 2017 from 4-6 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service times are Monday January 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home . Interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Road Bel Air, Maryland 21014.
