Charles Randolph Crites

Charles Randolph Crites, age 67, of Leon, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Charles was the beloved son of the late Raymond Ray Crites and the late Marlene (Johnson) Crites.

Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. He especially treasured time with his grandchildren, whether sharing stories, preparing meals together, or simply relaxing around a bonfire with family and friends.

A passionate sports fan, Charles faithfully followed Baltimore sports teams and enjoyed cheering on the Orioles, Ravens, and Capitals. His love of sports, cooking, and gathering with loved ones created many cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Gillis and Lilly Platter.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Mae (Horner) Crites; his children, Randy Loudermilk and his wife, Rachel, Gabrielle Shettle and her partner Timothy Russell, Alexander Loudermilk; his stepdaughter Jenna Scanlon; his grandchildren, Cassandra Knight, Randy Loudermilk, Jr., Kira-Ann Loudermilk, and Violet Scanlon; his sisters, Beverly Evans and Kimber Gardner; his brother, Randall Crites; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
