Chad J. Perkins, age 46, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on July 14, 2024. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of Robert and Lynn (Kirschke) Perkins.
Chad was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines. He graduated from Joppatowne High School and later completed the electrical apprenticeship program at Harford Community College. He was a master electrician, previously employed by American Design and Build, and later became self-employed as the owner and operator of A.M.P. Electric Company.
Chad had a passion for tinkering in the garage, especially with his race cars and drones, and he enjoyed spending time at the shooting range. He was an enthusiastic cook, affectionately known as "Chef Boy O' Perkins" by his friends and family. Chad cherished spending time with his many friends, often over a beer, and loved engaging in various outdoor activities. He enjoyed snow skiing, boating, and golfing with his dad and brother.
Chad's vibrant personality and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for life will continue to inspire those he left behind.
In addition to his parents, Chad is survived by his son, Cayden J. Perkins; daughter, Kaila E. Perkins; brother, R. Todd Perkins; aunts, uncles, cousins & many extended family members.
