Cecelia Ann Zubal, age 79, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus Wszolek and Irenna Wszolek.

Cecelia was a loving wife, mother, friend, and teacher. She grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, where she worked in her family’s bakery during her younger years. She pursued her passion for music, earning a degree in Music and training as an opera singer. Cecelia later shared her love of music by teaching piano lessons out of her home, touching the lives of many students.

In addition to her work as a teacher, Cecelia served as a librarian at John Carroll, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. She was also an accomplished homemaker who found great joy in cooking and caring for her family. Cecelia took immense pride in creating a warm and loving household. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a very active parishioner of St. Ignatius.

Cecelia is survived by her daughter, Irenna Zubal; and her son, Stefan Zubal.
