Carole Edith Dellecese

Carole Edith Dellecese, age 83, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on August 31, 2023, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (O'Neal) Edwards, and she was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph A. Dellecese Sr. of 52 years. She was a member of Mountain Christian Church Abingdon Campus, Grief Share Group, and food pantry. She was very involved in her bible study group. She would meet with her "bus buddies" group on the first Friday of every month at Panera Bread. She recently had joined Mountain Christian youth group so she could speak to the kids. Serving Jesus was her number one goal in life. She loved her family; her kids, grand kids, and 5 great grand kids were her life. She remembered every birthday, anniversary, and was always someone you could call upon. 
     
Carole is survived by her; son, Joseph (Beverly) Dellecese Jr.; daughters, Clarice (Robert) Taylor, Cara (Al) Vorhies, Christy (Aaron) Berndt; grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, Logan; brothers, James, Albert, William, and Jack Edwards; and sister, Beverly Koch.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carole was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Sack, Marilyn Catherine Rinelt, and Lynda Edwards.
