Carol Ann Albany (Campbell), 79, passed away on June 11, 2026. Carol was the loving wife of George Albany, Sr. who passed away in 2020. George and Carol met at work and bonded over being from Philly and hanging out on the corner. Throughout George’s career they moved the family several times, and Carol was always quick to make the best of it and find and make close friends of her neighbors, especially from Perry Hall and Rehoboth.

Carol is survived by her three loving children— Jennifer (Eric) Palm, George (Lisa) Albany, Jr., and Jessica (Leonard) Ottone and her brother Martin Campbell. Additionally, she was Ama to Patrick, Anna, Tessa, Bella, Harper, Teagan, Kalah, Livi, and Toni. And Aunt Carol to many!

We are certain she is in heaven asking a stranger for a cigarette and a light and talking to anyone and everyone she meets. She wanted to be in on the story and loved to be included! We will miss her dearly!!

Services will be private. Please reach out to Jennifer, Jessica, or George for more information. We are planning a celebration in honor of our mother in October for her 80th birthday. She was looking forward to us hosting an event to celebrate with her!
