C. Clark Jones

C. Clark Jones of Baltimore, MD passed away at the age of 99 on May 3, 2016 at Oak Crest Care Center in Parkville, MD. He was born in Baltimore to Charles Robert Jones and Ella May (Bolgiano) Jones. He graduated in 1934 from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and then from John Hopkins University, and also served during WWII as a Chief Radio Officer in Maritime Service. He served 34 years in the Harford County Public School System, 22 of which he held the position of Director of Personnel, and he was the first Vice Principal of Bel Air High School. A member of Bel Air United Methodist Church since 1953, he taught Sunday School for 30 years there and at Overlea Methodist Church.

Mr. Jones is survived by his sons, John Clark Jones of Bel Air and William Thomas Jones of Greenback Ville, VA; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Cundiff Jones and his brother, Robert C. Jones.
