Darlington

Bruce Allen Greer, 68, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. He was born in Havre De Grace, Maryland.

Bruce was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Greer, who was truly the love of his life, and by his brother, Brant Greer. The loss of his wife deeply affected him, and he missed her dearly.

He is survived by his loving son, Eric Greer (Jamie); his cherished grandchildren, Ace Greer and Lincoln Greer, whom he adored and loved watching grow; his stepson Brandon Taylor; his parents, Elbert Bruce Greer (Barbara) and Omie Irene (Rutherford) Greer; his sister, Belinda Workman (Dave); his brother, Barry Greer (Betty Ann); and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves behind Millie Mae, his loving dog and loyal friend.

Bruce was a loving father and grandfather, and his family was truly his world. He especially treasured time spent with his grandkids and loved being a Grampy. He enjoyed classic cars and trucks, monster trucks, motorcycles, four-wheeling, and drag racing. Bruce also took pride in keeping his yard pristine and enjoyed mowing the grass although he wasn't a fan of the weed eater. A devoted sports fan, he loved watching Baltimore Ravens games and was an avid NASCAR fan. One of his favorite traditions was traveling to Ocean City for Cruising Week.

Bruce began his working career with his father’s company G&L before starting his own drywall business Premier DryWall, which he proudly operated from 1999 until 2020. He was a hardworking man, a dedicated family man, and deeply loved his family and friends and making people laugh with his many jokes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emory United Methodist Church Children's Ministry.
