Bruce D. Conklin, age 75, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Bruce was the beloved son of the late Leroy Conklin and the late Evelyn (Anthony) Conklin.

Bruce was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend whose greatest joy was the family he built and cherished. He and his beloved wife, Diane, would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this September, a testament to the love and partnership they shared.

Bruce dedicated 23 years of service to Harford County Government as a truck driver and equipment operator before retiring in 2015. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature.

In his free time, Bruce found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed spending time gardening, tending to his yard, and fishing whenever he had the opportunity. Whether working outdoors or relaxing by the water, he appreciated the peace and fulfillment these hobbies brought him. He spent time every day with his devoted companion, his dog Allie.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Conklin; his loving children, Nichole Conklin Pachucinski, Bruce Conklin and his wife Amanda, and Amanda Conklin; his cherished grandchildren, Madalyn, Maysn, and Charlotte; and many extended family members and friends who will treasure his memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church of the donor's choice.
