Brenda Carroll

Brenda Carroll, age 74, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, in Aberdeen, MD.

Brenda was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, and was the beloved daughter of Verley Odell Younce and Bina Elizabeth (Furchess) Younce, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was the devoted wife of Elmore Carroll, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Brenda was a dedicated employee at Aberdeen Proving Ground, where she worked for 46 years as a Supply Technician before retiring. She was deeply family-oriented and cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially enjoying family trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Brenda was preceded in death by her grandchild, Samantha Mathers, and her brothers, James Younce and Larry Younce.

She is survived by her children, Christine Mathers and her husband Andy, and Christopher Carroll and his wife Lisa; her grandchildren, Jacob Mathers, Ian Mathers, Kaleb Carroll, Josie Carroll, Jenna Carroll; her great-grandchild, Grantley Anderson; and her brothers, Richard Younce and Jack Younce.
