Obituary

Bobby H. Graybeal, age 93, of Conowingo, Maryland, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of the late Hyde Delphus Graybeal and Mamie Elizabeth (Morgan) Graybeal and the devoted husband of the late Virginia Mae (Benjamin) Graybeal.

Bobby proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a welder at Aberdeen Proving Ground. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, but above all, Bobby was a family man whose greatest joy came from the people he loved.

For the last 23 years, Bobby shared a home with his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, creating countless memories together. His grandchildren, Brandon and Benjamin, truly were his world. He shared a very special relationship with both of them and made it a priority to be present for every sporting event, school event, and important moment in their lives. Whether cheering them on from the sidelines or simply spending time together, Bobby's devotion to his grandchildren was unwavering.

Among the everyday traditions they shared were their Dunkin' runs, which Bobby thoroughly enjoyed. With his sense of humor, he would often say, "America runs on Dunkin', and so do I." It was one of the many little things that reflected his personality and will bring a smile to those who knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his son, Mark Graybeal; daughter-in-law, Patti Graybeal; and grandchildren, Brandon Graybeal and Benjamin Graybeal.

In addition to his parents, Hyde Delphus Graybeal and Mamie Elizabeth (Morgan) Graybeal, Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Mae (Benjamin) Graybeal.
