Billie Wymer

Billie Wymer, age 86, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on March 29, 2024, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Born in Harman, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Blake and Bessie (VanDevander) Cooper and wife of the late Willard Van Wymer. She was a member of Long Green Valley Church of the Brethren and a former member of Dundalk Church of the Brethren.  She was very active within the Boumi Ladies and The Bou Tem-Sci Club and Daughters of the Nile.  She enjoyed activities at the McFaul Senior Center in Bel Air. She retired in the late 1990's as an assistant banking manager with Equitable Trust at the Martin Marietta Branch after over 20 years of service.  She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, cooking, spending time at the family farm in West Virginia, being involved with her church and being with her grandchildren.  She was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.       

Billie is survived by her daughters, Diana S. (James) Cauterucci, and Donna K. Peremel; grandchildren, Rachel Smith, and Blake Peremel; sisters, Betty Mayes, Marjorie Lawrence, and Peggy Orlick.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by son, Michael Van Wymer

Services will be held on April 4, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Long Green Valley Church of the Brethren, 4800 Long Green Road, Glen Arm, Md 21057
