Betty Jean Moffett

Betty Jean Moffett, age 79, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on July 3, 2012 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill. Born in Christiansburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Versal and Margaret Rebecca Chrisman Williams. A resident of Harford County for most of her life, she worked at Gleneagles Sewing Factory as a seamstress for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed listening to country and bluegrass music, reading, traveling with her husband and sitting out watching the planes.

Mrs. Moffett is survived by her husband of 62 years, John E. Moffett of Forest Hill, MD; son, John E. Moffett Jr. of Red Lion, PA; sisters, Mildred Jane Williams of Street, MD and Frances Schwartz of Bel Air, MD; grandchildren, David R. Mann of Bel Air, MD and Bridgette A. Moffett of Middle River, MD; and great-grandson, Michael J. Andrzejewski. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia A. Petrigiacomo and brother, Marvin V. Williams.
