Betty Joyce Harris

Betty Joyce Harris, age 86, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Franklin Square Hospital. She was born in Whittier, NC. The daughter of the late Louise Hudson and Frank Kinsland. Joyce was married to Vester Harris for 62 years until his death in 2017. She obtained a BA degree in accounting from Harford Community College. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance where she had a supervisory position processing claims. She was a long-time member of Union Chapel U.M.C.

Joyce is survived by her children Renee Kelley, Debbie Knott (Mike), Lorrie Brown (Sam), Faye Belcher (Bob) and Steve Harris; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and brother Wade Kinsland.
