Betsy Ann Garner

Betsy Ann Garner, age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Bel Air, MD.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Betsy was the beloved daughter of the late James Mayo Hirt and Doris Ysabel (Duncan) Hirt.

Betsy dedicated over 40 years of service as a secretary with John Hancock Insurance Services in Towson, retiring in 2017. She enjoyed shopping, dining out, and watching television. Betsy had a special love for animals, especially cats, and her compassionate spirit touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her loving sister, Sally (William) Antkowiak; nieces, Jennifer Walter, and Suzanne Walter; and nephew, Jim Walter, and great nieces Isabella Cala, Rylee Walter, and Charlotte Walter.
