Bentley Garland Jones

BENTLEY GARLAND JONES, of Jarrettsville, died on October 9, 2002 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was 69.

Born August 24, 1933 in Jarrettsville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Dewey and Emma Powers Jones.

Mr. Jones was retired from the Gurvis Jones Well Drilling Co. He was a graduate of North Harford High School and was a member of Baptist View Regular Baptist Church in Forest Hill.

Mr. Jones was an avid bowler and loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosalee Jones; two daughters, Audrey Cremeans and her husband, Milo of Aberdeen, Maryland and Brenda Lehr and her husband, Gary of Bel Air, Maryland; two grandchildren, Melissa Cremeans and Milo Cremeans, Jr. both of Aberdeen; two great granddaughters, Mikayla and Madelyn Petty, both of Aberdeen; and three brothers, Hearl Jones of Forest Hill, Dean Jones of Jarrettsville and Gurvis Jones of Bel Air. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Caitlin L. Petty.
