Ben Keesey, Jr., 75, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Ben was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Keesey, Sr. and Betty (Pawloski) Keesey.
Ben was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. A huge family man and a genuinely good all-around guy, he was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Ben was an excellent friend to all who knew him.
He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including working on jigsaw puzzles, playing horseshoes, and sharing meals with family and friends. It was often joked that he never met a buffet he did not like. Ben will be remembered for his caring nature, warm personality, and deep love for his family.
Ben was preceded in death by his beloved son, Matthew Keesey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Keesey; his sons, Benjamin Keesey III, Jason Keesey, and Scott Keesey; his grandchildren, Samantha (Patrick) Kenney, Ben W. Keesey, Brooke Keesey, and Brooks Keesey; his great-grandchildren, Caden Kenney and West Kenney; his sisters, Joyce Keesey and Donna Misiak. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Benjamin’s memory to Autism Speaks.
