Barry Keith Mabe, 73, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026. Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late Gilbert Clay Mabe and Anna Ruth (McMeans) Mabe.

Barry retired from the United States Air Force, after serving in Thailand and the Philippines during the Vietnam War. After his retirement, he studied photography. He had many hobbies and interests including planes, boats, and cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with friends at Perryman Station and playing his drums.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila (Danny) Hooker; his son, Steven (Sabrina) Mabe; grandchildren, Brooke, Tabitha, Akira, Alex, Bella, Keith, Sarah Cherish, and Joseph, his sister, Sylvia Rowe; nephews, Michael (Marie) Rowe and Clinton (Tina) Rowe; and niece, Denise (Norman) Vetter.
