Barbara A. Broumel-Merkley

Barbara A. Broumel-Merkley, age 74, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on July 26, 2023 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Zilka and wife of the late Thomas Broumel. Barbara loved flowers and had a green thumb; she was also known as a great cook and baker.    

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Robin E. Merkley, Elaine (Thomas) Toombs, Katherine (Fiancé Shawn Chamberlain) Merkley; grandchildren, Jordan Lee, Kennedy Lee, and Edward Merkley.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by son, Matthew Merkley.
