Arthur William Kretzschmar

Arthur William Kretzschmar, of Joppa, MD, died at the age of 87 on November 13, 2016 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Arthur Elis and Sara Helen (Sanderson) Kretzschmar and was the husband of the late Connie Ann Kretzschmar. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a world traveler and had visited six continents. He was a former member of Bush River Yacht Club, and a current member of the Fallston Lions Club and the Masonic Jephthah Lodge #222 where he obtained his 60 year Masonic Pin.

Survivors include his children, Arthur "Bud" Kretzschmar Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Joppa, Kathy Mariano and husband, Joseph, of Fulton, Linda Harris and husband, George, of Los Osos, CA and Leslie Matassa and husband, Joe, of Bel Air; sisters, Louise Fryer of California and Jane Dalbey of Michigan; grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Katie, Colleen, Patrick, Nicholas, Danielle, Benjamin and Joey; and great-grandchildren, Lily and Ethan.
