Arletta R. Hess

ARLETTA R. HESS, age 76, of Edgewood, MD, died on September 22, 2007 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Nottingham, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charlotte Russell Zell and wife of the late Carl Russell Hess. She was raised by her aunt, Sarah Jackson, and worked as a secretary for the U.S. Army at Edgewood Arsenal. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Chuck.

Mrs. Hess is survived by her son, Russell G. Hess and his wife Frances B. Hess of Whiteford, MD; one daughter, Terry Hess of Abingdon, MD; one brother, William Zell of Millersville, PA; two sisters, Audrey Zook of Fort Pierce, FL and Anna Skinner of Edgewood, MD; and two grandchildren, Tim Hess and Elizabeth Hess, both of Whiteford, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Jane Todd.
