Arlen L. Weddle, aged 84, of Churchville, Maryland, passed away on December 27, 2023. Born in Bel Air, Maryland, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Branscome) Weddle and the late husband of Joyce (Williams) Weddle. Arlen was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country with honor.

Arlen retired in April 1995 from Aberdeen Proving Ground after dedicating many years of service as an engineer in the CSTA office. Beyond his professional life, Arlen found joy in various activities. He had a green thumb and took pride in working on his lawn. His passion for mechanical endeavors was evident in his pursuits, from building intricate train layouts to exploring various engineering projects. Additionally, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of bicycling, reading, and solving word and number puzzles.

Arlen is survived by his loving sons, Anthony Weddle and Timothy L. Weddle, and his grandchild, Bronwyn Connolly.

In addition to his wife and parents, Arlen was preceded in death by his brother, Nowell Todd Weddle, and sister, Margaret Weddle.
