Antoinette Wright, age 97, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on September 22, 2023 at home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria DiGuglielmo Rucci and wife of the late Wilson Wright. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church - Bradshaw. She had worked for Goetz's Candy Company for 34 years as a supervisor, retiring in 1990. Antoinette enjoyed crocheting, reading, baking (especially Italian cookies and Jewish apple cakes) and shopping. She was very close to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending all of their school events and activities.
Antoinette is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. MacCord; grandchildren, Jo Anna Schmidt (Thomas J. Schmidt, Sr.), Jennifer Cercado (Carlos Flowers), Andrew MacCord (Carla MacCord), Lisa Trent (Todd Trent), Bridgette Bishop (James Bishop), Jason Clark (Megan Clark), Alfred Clark, Jr., Kimberly Clark (Charles Cox, Jr.), Christina Clark (Jamie Rice), Jessica Clark (Michael Hill), Mary Bennett (Brook Bennett), Rose Clark and John Henry; great grandchildren, Thomas Schmidt, Jr., Italy Flowers, Kali Flowers, Danielle Lovett, Steven Keefer, Jarred Keefer, Becky Bishop, Christina Bishop, Jim Bishop, Christopher Bishop, Mikaela Clark, Blake Clark, Ethan Clark, Emma Clark, Charles Cox, Katelyn Cox, Jamie Rice, Aleathia Conner, Jocelyn Conner, Rhonda Bennett, Tabatha Rush and many nieces and nephews, including Karen Dudek (Frank Dudek) and Jeffrey Hartman.
In addition to her husband and parents, Antoinette was preceded in death by sisters, Luisa Acciaro, Anna Hartman, Michelina Salvatore, and Angelina Nassrie; brothers Frank Rucci, Nicholas Rucci, Joseph Rucci and Samuel Rucci; sons Alvin E. Clark, Jr., Alfred H. Clark, Sr., and William D. Clark.
