Anne Corine Regan Hickey, age 98, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
Anne Corine Regan Hickey was born on September 22, 1927, at home in Riverside, Rhode Island, to Francis Elwood Regan and Anna Corine Regan. She remained remarkably active throughout her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Deacon John Joseph Hickey, whom she married in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 21, 1952; her brothers, Francis Elwood Regan, Jr. and Robert Joseph Regan; two children, son Joseph Paul Hickey and daughter Reverend Joan Paula Kelly; and her son-in-law, Philip Livingston Ober.
Anne is survived by her sister, Maureen Elizabeth Regan Cuttle; her children Anne Corine Ober, Patricia Mary (Tom) Ford, John Bernard (Cindy) Hickey, Kathleen Hickey (Mark) Crisco, and Robert Francis Xavier Hickey; and her son-in-law, Joseph Michael Kelly. She was a loving and proud grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and a great-grandmother (GG) to twenty great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church, 141 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, Maryland.
Interment took place on January 6, 2026.
