Anna (nee Martella) Molino, age 93, recently of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on August 13, 2025 at Heartlands Assisted Living in Ellicott City, Maryland. Born in Vasto, Italy, she was the oldest daughter of Nicola and Maria (nee Suriani) Martella. After living and working in London, England for several years, she emigrated to America at the age of 29. She was a talented seamstress and handmade many of her own clothes, including her own wedding dress. For a time, Anna also worked in the cafeteria at Deerfield Elementary School in Edgewood, Maryland.
Anna was married for 61 years to Joseph A. Molino, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but whose parents, Anna (Tana) & Luigi Molino, were also from Vasto. Anna was a homemaker and a wonderful Italian cook. She loved nothing more than to feed friends and family delicious meals in her beautiful home.
She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph, who died in October 2023. She is survived by their sons, Joseph Anthony Molino, Jr. (Judy) and Louis Nicholis Molino (Kelly); and grandchildren: Grace, Luke, Faith, and Kevin Molino, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Anna was also predeceased by her sisters, Lina Turchet, Enza Martella, and Ida Vitelli, and her brothers Guiseppe Martella, Lionardo Martella and Antonio Martella. She is survived by her sister, Lucia Taddini.
