Angela Marie Baur

Angela Marie Baur, age 69, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Angelo Stefanoni and Rose (Brusio) Stefanoni and the devoted wife of John Christian Baur.

Angela lived a life deeply rooted in her faith and her love for her family. A longtime member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Bradshaw, she remained devoted to her Catholic faith throughout her life. She also attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Pylesville, where she and her husband, John, especially enjoyed attending the church's many events together.

Angela had a creative spirit and found great joy in antiquing and crafting, particularly repurposing items and giving them new life. She loved spending time outdoors tending to both her flower and vegetable gardens. Above all, her family held the most special place in her heart. Her grandchildren were truly her pride and joy, and the time she spent with them brought her immeasurable happiness.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, John Christian Baur; sons, Curt Baur and Christopher Baur and his wife, Emily; grandchildren, Sebastian Baur, James Spede, Juliet Spede, Mason Baur, Connor Baur, and Isabella Baur; siblings, Carlo Stefanoni, Michele Fleishman, and Dominic Stefanoni; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Angelo and Rose Stefanoni, Angela was preceded in death by her sister, Francesca Knauer.
