Amnon Birenzvige

July 20, 1937 — December 21, 1937

AMNON BIRENZVIGE, age 67, of Joppa, died at his home on December 21, 2004. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, he was the son of the late Zvi and Malka Vidovski Birenzvige. He had worked at Edgewood Arsenal for 23 years where he was a scientist. His family said that he was a great scientist, an even better human being, and the best husband, father, and grandfather. He was the epitomy of selfless love. He earned a PhD in Physics and Chemistry from the State University of New York at Albany. He liked going to the gym, traveling, and eating foods from around the world. He enjoyed opera, jazz, classical music, and photography. He enjoyed being with his grandson

Mr. Birenzvige is survived by his wife, Ilana Birenzvige; one son, Shavit Birenzvige of Wheaton, Maryland; two brothers, Danni Birenzvige of Tel Aviv, Israel; Yoram Birenzvige of Tel Aviv, Israel; and one grandson, Joshua Stavo Birenzvige of Wheaton, Maryland.
