Alice S. Reed

ALICE S. REED, age 99, of Bel Air, died in Quail Run Assisted Living Center, Bel Air on December 9, 2002. Born in Churchville, she was the daughter of the late Asel Tollinger and Elizabeth Fredricker Herman Starr, and the wife of the late Harless Menifee Reed. Born and raised in Harford County her whole life, she had been an active diary farmer. She was a member of Mountain Christian Church for at least 60 years and a charter member of Grandview Christian Church. She was deeply involved with her family.

Mrs. Reed is survived by one daughter, Irene Baxter of Bel Air; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Doris R. Walker; Mary R. Johnson; two brothers, Walter Starr; and Harry Starr.

Pallbearers will be: John Walker, Paul Walker, Gregory Johnson, Sam Curry, and Robert S. Darretta.
