Alice Margaret Dencler

Alice Margaret Dencler, 99, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William Arthur Brown and Sara Jane (Clifford) Brown.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Dencler; and her brother, William Brown.

She is survived by her children: Sharon (Louis) Baker, Mark (Angela) Dencler, Sr., and Claude (Donna) Dencler. Alice was blessed with nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought tremendous joy to her long and full life.

Alice cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed a variety of needlework, including knitting, sewing, and crocheting. She also loved working on puzzles and spending quiet moments reading.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made as desired.

The family invites all who knew and loved Alice to share memories and condolences as they celebrate her remarkable life.
