Albert Christopher Zuro, Sr., age 80, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Bel Air. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Albert Zuro and Mildred F. (Hrabley) Zuro.

Albert proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and carried that same dedication and commitment throughout his life. He was married to his beloved wife, Donna M. (Kleppick) Zuro, for 59 wonderful years, building a life centered on family, friendship, and service to others.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie & James Daniel; his son, Albert & Samantha Zuro; his grandchildren, Hannah Folderauer, Alec Zuro, Rebecca Folderauer, Colby & Sierra Daniel, Samuel Daniel, JoAnn & Jeremy Cantrell; his great-grandchildren, Peyton Cantrell & Oliver Cantrell; and his brothers, retired Master Gunnery Sergeant Gene & Nancy Zuro, and Bruce Zuro. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his brother Terry Zuro.

Professionally, Albert was a respected leader in the insurance and financial services industry, serving as Past President of the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He was known for his strong work ethic, outgoing personality, and ability to connect with everyone he met.

Albert embraced life with enthusiasm. He enjoyed gardening, playing golf, he was avid collector of sports memorabilia, collecting rocks and seashells, and taking walks along the beach. He loved all sports and remained active by playing golf and working in his yard. A devoted football fan, he faithfully cheered on both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. Albert also had a well-earned reputation as an exceptional shopper and was known as a friendly, social person who never met a stranger, happily striking up conversations wherever he went.

He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory. The family will be having a private celebration of life in honor of this great man.
