Adam Marcus Walsh, age 56, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and was the beloved son of William Timothy Walsh and Mary Ann (Marcantoni) Walsh, both of whom preceded him in death. Along with his late brother, William Walsh Jr. and sister Nichol Walsh.
Adam was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted family man whose world revolved around those he loved most. Family was always first, even on the longest workdays, and he never failed to show up for his children whenever they needed him. Known for his great sense of humor, Adam loved joking and teasing his family and was famous for giving everyone affectionate nicknames. His laughter, warmth, and playful spirit will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children, Alexandra Walsh, Nicole Rivera, and Drew Stone; his grandchildren Jaxon Rivera and Preston Stone. His nephews, Richard Law, and William Law. His son in law William Rivera; soon to be Ryan Millon.
Adam graduated from Loyola High School and pursued his education by attending Loyola College. He took great pride in his work, owning and operating his own epoxy flooring business, where his craftsmanship and dedication were well known. He was proud of his flooring work and of building Adamo Construction with hard work and integrity.
A man of many interests, Adam loved concerts, comedy shows, football, baseball, and spending time at the beach. He cherished family trips to Ocean City, where he enjoyed parasailing, fishing, and being surrounded by nature. He owned a condo there and made countless memories with his family. Adam also loved traveling and driving for work, often taking the long way simply to enjoy the drive. His beloved cars and his cats held a special place in his heart.
Adam proudly served with the Abingdon Fire Department as an EMT/Firefighter and was a proud Catholic whose faith guided his life. He was an amazing father, grandfather, and family man who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Adam's name to John’s Hopkins scleroderma research
Adam's family would like to invite his friends and family to join them for lunch at the Abingdon fire hall after services on Wednesday.
