William Robert Nelson

WILLIAM ROBERT NELSON, age 65, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on October 26, 2007 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Lee Richardson. An Air Force veteran, he served in Vietnam as a jet engine mechanic for 4 years. For 39 years, he owned Harford Machine Shop, Inc. and was devoted to his family and his business. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church in White Marsh.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Shumate Nelson of Havre de Grace, MD; two sons, Robert “Brian” Nelson of Joppa, MD and Kevin D. Nelson of Havre de Grace, MD; one daughter, Beverly L. Campbell of Pylesville, MD; one brother, Jack Nelson of Joppa, MD; one sister, Joan Wolfe of Joppa, MD; and four grandchildren, Savannah Nelson and Dominic Nelson, both of Joppa, MD, and Victoria Nelson and Lauren Nelson, both of Havre de Grace, MD.

Pallbearers were Brian Nelson, Kevin Nelson, Cecil Campbell, Shane Campbell, Jimmy Kimmell, and Eric Kimmell.
