APPEL, SR.-On August 26, 2010, William Leonard Appel Sr. of Abingdon, MD. Beloved husband of the late Edith Blanche Lowman Appel. Devoted father of William L. Appel Jr. and wife, Renee, Colleen S. Parker and husband, Dean Sr., Brenda L. Gobble and husband, Dan, John K. Appel and wife, Laura and Kenneth W. Appel and wife, Jennifer. Also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William L. Appel III, Christopher A. Appel, Dean Parker Jr., Daniel L. Gobble, Stephen M. Gobble, Robert P. Gobble, John W. Appel and Noah M. Appel.
