William "Bill" Schmidt

William "Bill" Schmidt, age 90, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2021 with his devoted wife at his side. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late William Schmidt Sr. and the late Anna (Heinz) Schmidt. He retired as a design draftsman at Westinghouse with over 40 years of service. William was an avid golfer, fisherman and enjoyed traveling. He lived a rich and full life, blessed with a loving family and many friends.

William is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Joan Schmidt; daughters, Deborah Carfine, Denise Martin and Susan (Allen) Klaschus; grandchildren, Kenneth Jr. (Rachel) & Gregory (Jeanne) Carfine, Jonathan (Amanda) Martin, Matthew (Lindsay) & Shawn (Diane) Klaschus; great-grandchildren, Marley, Kendall & Kennedy Carfine, Caleb, Brinlee & Liam Klaschus.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Schmidt and cherished son-in-law, Kenneth Carfine Sr.

Services will be private.
