William "Bill" G. Lashley

William "Bill" G. Lashley, age 89, of Lutherville, MD passed away on June 30, 2019 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James and Catherine (Deitz) Lashley and husband of the late Verna Joan (Buterbaugh) Lashley. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was an accountant for the Maryland Insurance Commissioner. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.

Mr. Lashley is survived by his son, Mark A. (Mary) Lashley; daughter, Dawn M. (Kevin) Newman; grandchildren, Rachael N. (Anthony) Cramer, Joshua D. (Courtney) Newman, Rebecca D. (Jared) Holten, Hannah J. Newman, Christina M. Lashley, Meredith A. Lashley, Heather N. Lashley and Christopher M. Lashley; great-grandchildren, Levi Cramer and Esta Cramer; brother, Charles (late wife Verna) H. Lashley.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy M. West and Naomi C. McHenry; and brothers, James R. Lashley and Edward R. Lashley.
