Wayne Blottenberger

Wayne A. Blottenberger, age 80, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on September 7, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland from Leukemia. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Walter Anderson and Doris Brook (Wicklein) Blottenberger.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 58 years, Erika Blottenberger, his son Eric Blottenberger and two granddaughters, Emma and Eden Blottenberger. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Roger Blottenberger, Bruce Blottenberger and Arlene Clark. He has numerous surviving nephews and nieces.

He was a graduate of Towson High School and a Navy veteran. A former employee of Lucent and Verizon, he retired after 36 years. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman and successful photographer. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and hiking with his wife and son as well as volunteering at Susquehanna State Park.
