Wanda Kate Harreld

Wanda Kate Harreld, age 77, of Abingdon, MD, died on March 30, 2011 at her home. Born in Damascus, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Georgia Lee Cress Wilson. She loved her job as a Food Demonstrator at Costco in White Marsh where she had worked for almost 20 years. A member of Towne Baptist Church for over 40 years, she loved her family and enjoyed the beach, shopping, movies, traveling, and going to Lancaster Sight and Sound.

Mrs. Harreld is survived by her husband, Asher D. Harreld of Abingdon, MD; daughters, Brenda Gail Whitaker of Joppatowne, MD and Kathy M. Saffer of Nottingham, MD; stepsons, Matthew Floyd Harreld of Port Deposit, MD and Andrew Scott Harreld of Perryville, MD; sister, Doris Marie Cook of Damascus, VA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Lenna Nelson.
