Walter R. Fitzpatrick

Walter R. Fitzpatrick, age 76, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on September 27, 2022 at Gilchrist Hospice at GBMC in Towson, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Walter and Flora (Snyder) Fitzpatrick. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., he served his country during the Vietnam War, one of Walters most honorable accomplishments. He worked for Orkin Pest Control since 1988. Walter loved studying history, especially the Civil War.

Walter is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mercedes Fitzpatrick; daughter, April Fitzpatrick; sisters, Shirley Ann Henson and Donna Lotto; brothers, Robert Fitzpatrick and Steven Fitzpatrick; and stepdaughter, Tammy Lynn.

The family will be hosting a wake at Richlin Ball Room, Edgewood, MD on October 22, 2022 from 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
