Virginia "Jenny" Kathryn Leonard

Virginia "Jenny" Kathryn Leonard, 70, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 3, 2015 at Seasons Hospice in Rosedale, MD. Born in Street, MD, she is the daughter of the late Elbert and Mildred Patrick Joines. Mrs. Leonard was a 1962 graduate of Bel Air High School and in 1983 earned a Bachelor's degree in business management at University of Maryland. She worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground for 35 years ending her career as a resource manager for TECOM. She enjoyed traveling, lighthouses, carousels and covered bridge photographs.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Richard Leonard; sons, James R. Leonard II and Raymun B. Leonard, both of Bel Air; brother, Harold L. Joines of Street; sisters, Joyce Mellin of Brighton, MI and Shelva Calhoun of Millville, NJ; and grandchildren, Alyssa Anne Leonard of Abingdon and Adam Walter of Bel Air.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, David Joines and sisters, Julia Brown and Shirley R. Joines.
