Virginia Dare Ball

VIRGINIA DARE BALL, 81, of Richmond Dale, OH, formerly of Edgewood, went to be with her Lord 3:15 AM Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Westmorland Place in Chillicothe, OH following an extended illness.

Born October 3, 1924 in Buchanan County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Perry M. and Flora Davis Ball. For 42 years, she was the wife of the late Lewis McKinley Ball who died May 4, 1985.

Mrs. Ball is survived by daughters, Wilma Ann (Theodore) Fickisen, of Chillicothe, OH and Loveis Jean (Todd) Wagner of Glen Rock, PA; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Burton Ball, Gorman Ball and Norman Ball, all of Ohio; sisters, Helen Flake of Ohio and Cuba Robinson of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Jack D. Ball, and five brothers, Charlie, Evert, Titus, Willard and Harlin Ball.

Virginia was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Edgewood, MD and had attended Council School in Virginia.
