Virginia C. Magness

Virginia C. Magness, age 97, of Catonsville, MD, died on August 21, 2010 at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD. Born and raised in the Fulford (Tudor Hall) area of Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of the late Amos Hollis and Anna Evelyn Kyle Cooley, and wife of the late Robert B. Magness, who was a tax assessor for Harford County. She worked, for 17 years, as a Circuit Court Clerk in Bel Air for the Assessment Office.

Mrs. Magness is survived by her son, Arthur Magness, of North East, MD; nieces, Carolyn Mauck and Dorothy Spaulding, both of Arlington, VA; and nephew, James T. Wollon Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD.
