Vernon L. Coale

Vernon L. Coale, age 88, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 31, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Churchville, MD, he was the devoted son of the late Roy Smith and Lily Bayless Coale and loving husband of the late Evelyn Hyne Coale. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country from 1944 to 1946 during WWII. He was a member of the Churchville IOOF Oddfellows and American Legion Post #39. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and antiquing. He loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Coale is the beloved father of son, Philip V. Coale and wife, Karen, of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Mary C. Oberender and husband, Wallace, of Pylesville, MD; sister, Brenda R. Myers of Millsboro, DE; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
