Valerie Lou Andrews

Valerie Lou Andrews, age 58, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on September 10. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Kenneth Lee, Sr., and Faith Lynn (Gill) Evans.

Valerie enjoyed a life of servitude and providing for others through worship at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She loved rooting for the West Virginia Mountaineers and Baltimore Ravens, and regularly would be the perfect hostess for watch parties. An ideal weekend for Valerie included time on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. A true party planner and social butterfly, she made any gathering, holiday, or dinner party one to remember. She was happiest when spending time with her family creating priceless memories. Valerie was “mom” to many and a friend to all.

In addition to her parents, Valerie is survived by her son, Layne Jackson Andrews of Forest Hill and his wife, Carly; granddaughter, Palmer Faith Andrews; brother, Kenneth Lee Evans, Jr. and his wife, Dawn; nephew, Karston George Evans; and niece, Alexandra Schaffer her husband Nicholas and their daughter Leona.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Faith Andrews.
